I can attest to the fact that this is a pampered pooch! I may be a bit partial because it is my aunt, uncle, and two cousins that adopted Mia but she couldn't have gone to a better and more loving family! Mia is so lucky to have been found by them and she will now have the best life a dog could ever dream. I hope to see her adorable mug in the 2008 calendar:)

Ps: Adopting pets from rescues and pounds are always the best way to get the most special pet for yourself!!!

I was so touched to see the beautiful Shih Tzu photo and Katrina really caught my eye. We are evacuees of Katrina, and we took our two Shih Tzu dogs with us. We would never leave them though it was difficult to find refuge that would accept our dogs. My heart aches to think of all the lost dogs, so very sad and there were many. I though wonder about Mia's previous owners. Thank you for adopting this dog, you'll be so happy with her. By the way, Mia looks just like my Shashi!!

Good for you for adopting a Katrina rescue!! I would have taken this one too, she's so cute!! I remember watching the news during that terrible time, and saw this little white dog just staring up at the bus she wasn't allowed to board with her family. I've thought of that little white dog for almost two years now, it was so heartbreaking. I like to think that Mia is that little dog and she has now found a better life.
